Duties and responsibilities

(1) The chief auditor is elected and dismissed by the municipal council. The chief auditor is an employee of the municipality and unless provided otherwise, be subject to the rights and obligations of any other senior officer under a special regulation.16) The inspector may, without the consent of council business or engage in any gainful activity and be a member of the management, control or supervisory bodies of legal persons conducting business. This restriction shall not apply to scientific activities, educational activities, lecturers, lecturing activities translation activity, publishing activity, literary or artistic activities and management of its assets or asset management of their minor children. The control operation is carried out independently and impartially in accordance with the basic rules of the control operation.
