Duties and responsibilities

Representatives of municipalities and the highest executive body of the village's mayor. The mayor is a public function. The mayor shall take an oath, which reads: "I swear on my honor and conscience that I will duly perform their obligations to protect the interests of the municipality and the Slovak Republic. Slovak Constitution, constitutional laws, laws and other generally binding regulations, I will carry out their duties mayor to apply to the best of my knowledge and belief. Mayor a) convene and chair the meetings of the municipal council and the municipal council and signed by the resolution, b) perform municipal administration, c) represents the municipality in relation to state authorities, legal and natural persons, d) decide on all matters of municipal administration not the law or statute municipality reserved the municipal council.
